HopeWorks is committed to making our website usable by everyone, regardless of ability or technology.
Last updated: July 1, 2026
HopeWorks believes everyone deserves equal access to information and opportunity — online and off. We are committed to ensuring our website is accessible to people with disabilities, including those who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice recognition software, and other assistive technologies.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We review new pages and features against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria before publishing, conduct periodic audits using both automated tools and manual testing, and provide accessibility training to the staff and volunteers who maintain our site.
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. For example, a small number of older PDF documents and third-party embedded content (such as maps and videos) may not meet all guidelines. We are working to remediate these items and will provide the information they contain in an alternative format on request.
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter a barrier, have difficulty accessing any content, or need information in an alternative format, please let us know:
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 3 business days.
